Celebrate the closing of our 2024-2025 School Year with the Copper Hills Varsity and JV Jazz Bands in a Fun-Filled evening of music, dancing, and dinner! Our Gala will feature these talented young artists with a Special Guest Performance from the West Jordan City Jazz Band! Welcome to CHHS Grizzly Bands!
The Grizzly Band is one of the most visible student organizations on campus. It is recognized not only for its high standards of performance, but also for the quality experience afforded to its members. We believe that the musical, physical, and social growth that takes place in band is a significant part of our students’ overall development.
Band students learn many skills in addition to musical skills such as dedication, hard work, perseverance, responsibility, working as a team, acceptance of others, how to compete in a healthy friendly way, and leadership skills. The Grizzlies perform at concerts, football and basketball games (home and playoffs), community events - like the Days of '47, Draper, Sandy, West Jordan, and Copperton Parades - as well as at band festivals where they are judged against national standards.
